Obituary of Esther M. Gade

Esther M. Hatem Gade February 19, 2010 Esther M. Hatem Gade of Fairmount passed away on February 19, 2010 at St. Joseph's Hospital after a brief illness. She was born in Corning, NY on December 5, 1922. Esther was previously employed at Dey Brothers and Fredericks Grocery Store. She married Charles J. Gade on January 17, 1948 and he predeceased her in 1976. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and her trips to the casino. She was a communicant of Holy Family Church. She was also predeceased by her sisters, Edna Woods, Marion Nojaim, Lena Midgley, and her brother Frederick Hatem Sr. Survivors: her beloved children, Peter J. (Kathy) Gade, Lea (David) Everson, and Frederick (Barbara) Hatem Jr.; her grandchildren, Christina, Nicole, Peter Jr., and Jennifer, and her beloved great granddaughter, Madison who she loved dearly; several nieces and nephews. Services: 1 p.m. Tuesday at Holy Family Church. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the Tindall Funeral Home, 1921 W Genesee St, Syracuse.
