I am the pastor of the 1st Congregational United Church of Christ in Phoenix, NY. On January 30, Curtis was a guest at our Worship Service. I got a chance to speak to him during our coffee hour that day. His question was how he might be able to help in the Food Pantry or in anyway needed. From his obituary, this sounds like Curtis from the little time I had to make his aquaintance. He will be included in the prayers from our Church. It just reminds us from Scripture that when we offer hospitality, we should do so with great care, because we "may be entertaining angels unaware."
Certainly, he is with his Lord. Our condolences to his family for their loss.

Curt was a Graduate of Mexico Academy and Central School Class of 1966.
He was a track runner specialist in the hurdles. Curt always could surprise you with an act of kindness and statement about life that would set you to thinking.
Some years after we graduated I ran into Curt at a Chiefs game. He hadn't changed one bit.
Curt you will be missed. RIP buddy.

I met Curtis when he lived with my daughters father in liverpool. He was a very kind man and was very sweet to our daughter. His personality and humor was always inviting to sit down and share a story or discuss a topic. Our condolences to your family during this very difficult time. May he be remembered fondly and cherrished in your hearts. His true gift of kindness that he shared with others will be sadly missed.
